An Introverted Missionary

Recently a friend shared a link on Facebook about missionaries who are introverted and it couldn’t have come at a more perfect time.  God used it to open my eyes and my heart to accept myself for who I am and not try to conform into “the perfect missionary”.  While I will always try to improve weaknesses when it comes to sin I also need to realize that knowing my limits and resting and being alone when needed is not a sin or weakness but can be a strength. Especially
since I am teamed up with my husband the extreme extravert! Hopefully I will be able to
take this to heart so as not to burn myself out to a crisp!

”I wasn’t God’s first choice for what I’ve done for China. I don’t know who it was. It must have been a man—a well–educated man. I don’t know what happened. Perhaps he died. Perhaps he wasn’t willing. And God looked down… and saw Gladys Aylward. And God said, ‘Well, she’s willing.’” – Gladys Aylward

  1. God has you in His eye and part of the beautiful tapestry he is weaving in Romania. We loved meeting you and we’re looking forward to reading the blog.
