We Have Arrived!!!

We are finally here! After 5 years of praying and trying doors, the Lord has, in His perfect time, led us to Romania. Yay Romania!

This summer has been awesome and I know the Lord was working in the hearts of the children at camp as well as all the teams and individual volunteers that came out this summer to work with the kids. We had 6 weeks of camp with a new group of children each week. Some of the groups were from the local village near the camp, some from the orphanages in Bucharest and one from a children’s day program in Bucharest. Costi taught Bible studies with the children and then we did organized activities such as crafts and relay races and water slides. The kids had a blast! I came back completely wiped out and exhausted but it was definitely worth every minute!

We got back August 2nd and now we are able to settle into life here in Bucharest. Costi has started visiting the children from the orphanage. Recently they have closed down the orphanages and placed the children into apartments. This is a difficult transition for some of them so please keep them in your prayers. Costi will be visiting the various apartments to keep in contact with them, celebrate their birthdays and just be a friend.
The next few weeks I will be needing to find a language class or tutor for myself as well as go through the girl’s homeschool books, figure out what I will need for this school year and get organized. We will also need to start looking for a more permanent apartment or house soon.
So many changes but they are all very exciting ones! Can’t wait to see what God does! Yay!

Prayer Requests:

1) A smooth transition for our children
2) Guidance for where we should live
3) Wisdom in all the decisions we will be making in the next few months including (but not limited to) schooling, housing, ministry opportunities, scheduling….etc.
4) That we would be able to make a positive difference in the lives of those around us.

Thank you so much for praying for us as we try to reach out to Gods children!
